Love Lives Here ministers to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the sexually exploited and street involved people who are poor, addicted, homeless and/or socially marginalized in Winnipeg. 

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbour as yourself. - Matthew 22: 37 - 39 (NLT)

"I have had a really enjoyable time volunteering at Love Lives Here. Serving people with physical food, but also spiritually and emotionally is a rewarding experience - giving back from what God has given me: love. Offering each person a smile or a hug that may change a life in a second has made me feel inspired to keep helping those in need. I also made new friends who became my brothers and sisters working together to provide an excellent service. I am so proud to be part of Love Lives Here!"

"I started volunteering with LLH in the spring of 2018 and I’m glad I did. It’s been an exciting challenge and a good learning experience. It’s great to make connections with the guests. Sometimes it’s sharing a laugh and sometimes it’s listening to his or her story and offering some support – spiritual and prayer support if possible and if there’s an openness to it (which there often is). It seems clear that God calls us to serve those in need, so I consider it a duty but also a privilege and a joy to be there for these inner-city folks.
